Amikacin Sulphate 100 mg/ 2 ml
MKC 100 Injection – Targeted Therapy for Gram-Negative Infections.
MKC 100 Injection – Amikacin Sulphate Injection IP 100MG is the semi-synthetic aminoglycoside antibiotic used to treat infections caused by more resistant strains of Gram-negative bacteria and some Gram-positive bacteria.
Amikacin binds to the 30S ribosomal subunit, inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis and causing cell death. It is especially valuable in treating serious infections caused by resistant gram-negative organisms. Administered intramuscularly or intravenously, it offers high bioavailability in systemic infections.
Key Benefits of Amikacin Sulphate Injection IP 100MG – MKC 100 Injection
✅ Broad-Spectrum Bactericidal Activity – Effective against multi-drug resistant gram-negative bacteria, including Pseudomonas aeruginosa, E. coli, and Klebsiella species.
✅ Treatment of Severe Infections – For multidrug-resistant organisms for indicated serious infections such as pneumonia, bloodstream infections, and infection of bones & joints, and also caused urinary tract infections
✅ Rapid Onset of Action – While treatment of gram-negative bacteria in neonates has high bacterial efficacy and synergy with beta-lactamase antibiotics, with the efficacy of lower costs and lower resistance
✅ Ideal for Resistant Infections – Preferred in nosocomial infections and those resistant to gentamicin or tobramycin.
