Gatifloxacin Eye Drops contains Gatifloxacin 0.5% ophthalmic solution, a broad-spectrum 4th-generation fluoroquinolone antibiotic for topical ophthalmic use. It acts by inhibiting bacterial DNA gyrase and topoisomerase IV, disrupting DNA replication and repair. Benzalkonium chloride 0.02% v/v serves as a preservative to maintain sterility.
