Fiazol B Cream – The Dual combination of beclomethasone dipropionate & clotrimazole cream is used to treat fungal infections, such as ringworm of the foot (tinea pedis or athlete’s foot), ringworm of the groin (tinea cruris or jock itch), and ringworm of the body (tinea corporis) and it is composed of two medicines: Clotrimazole (antifungal) and Beclomethasone dipropionate (steroid). Clotrimazole stops the growth of fungi by causing damage and leakage to the fungal cell membrane. Beclomethasone dipropionate belongs to the class of corticosteroids, which blocks the production of prostaglandins (chemical messengers) that make the affected area red, swollen, and itchy.
