Klara Ear Drops – 10ML – The composition of sodium carboxymethyl cellulose ophthalmic solution ip is a combination medicine used to treat bacterial and fungal infections of the ear where Beclometasone (corticosteroid), Clotrimazole (antifungal), Lidocaine (local anesthetic), and Neomycin (antibiotic). Beclometasone belongs to steroids that work by inhibiting the release of certain chemical messengers in the body that cause redness, itching, and swelling. Therefore, it reduces the redness and swelling caused due to bacterial infections. Clotrimazole belongs to the class of antifungals that works by damaging the fungal cell membranes and kills fungi. Lidocaine is a local anesthetic that decreases pain sensation by preventing pain signals from nerves to the brain. Neomycin belongs to the class of antibiotics that works by inhibiting the production of essential proteins necessary for bacteria to grow and increase in numbers.
