Fabiol Lotion – The composition of calamine & liquid paraffin lotion belongs to a class of drugs called anti-itching agents used to treat mild itching in conditions such as rashes, eczema, sunburn, stings, insect bites, chickenpox, and poison ivy. Eczema is a skin condition that causes itchy, cracked, swollen, or rough skin. As it is a combination of Calamine (anti-itching agent) and Light liquid paraffin (emollient). Calamine causes a cooling sensation as it evaporates on the skin. Light liquid paraffin is an emollient (softens and soothes skin) that prevents loss of water from the outer layer of skin. Thus, it hydrates, softens the skin, and relieves dryness.
